Big Win for the Hyderabad Heroes, Absolem Shines!

With the decision that was proved so right, Absolem was played in this match by Steve Rixon. The complete line up of batting of the Ahmedabad Rockets was destroyed by this player single handedly when swiped clean 7 wickets off  just 4 overs and giving away just 15 runs meanwhile.

This is a very rare happening that just one player makes it difficult for almost everyone to survive on the field from the rival team. Usually its team work that wins matches but with players like Absolem, that can be done without too. Almost all the wickets that “really mattered” were taken clean by Absolem easily. Aziz on 35, Hinds on 16, Goodwin on 36, Martyn at 1, Streak at 14, Yadav on 1 and Sodhi was sent back without scoring anything at all. Only a couple of players managed to get their scores past 30. This was completely a one-man show.

The batting was strengthened by players like Maher and Rayadu who saved 5 players from even coming into the field to play. Maher scored 84 runs on just 52 balls. Rayadu managed 65 runs on 36 balls.  Nag scored 5 runs. Razzaq managed 6 on 5 balls and got out very soon. Kemp and Binny remained not out at the end of the innings with 2 and 1 run to their credit. The score was 175 and the target was calculated out to be 180 according to the VJD rules. The team of the Hyderabad Heroes clearly won a good margin of 52 runs.
